The gymnastics industry has experienced a surge in participation rates, with both girls and boys enrolling in gymnastics classes than ever before. In fact, as we can see from the bar graph by Archive Market Research, gymnastics equipment sales have increased significantly and is projected to reach $1.848 billion by 2030. This growth not only reflects the increasing interest in the sport, but also highlights the potential for further expansion and development within the gymnastics community and its athletes.

However, despite this growth in participation, I recognize that equating participation to commericial interest may not be entirely accurate. While more individuals are engaging in gymnastics, it does not necessarily translate to increased viewership or revenue for the sport at a competitive level. Therefore, in the next section, we will delve deeper into the viewership trends of NCAA Women's Gymnastics to better understand its commercial potential.
